SKOCH Award, instituted in 2003, is the highest civilian honour in the country conferred by an independent organization. It recognizes people, projects and institutions that go the extra mile to make India a better nation. SKOCH Award covers the best of efforts in the area of digital, financial and social inclusion. It encompasses the best of governance, inclusive growth, excellence in technology and applications, change management, corporate leadership, corporate governance, citizen service delivery, capacity building, empowerment and other such softer issues that get normally lost in the glamour and glitz of industry sponsored or advertising focused jamborees. PTSLP has participated in the SKOCH award competition for the year 2019. The National Level SKOCH Gold and Silver Awards won by Post Tsunami Sustainable Livelihood Programme for well performing in financial inclusion for fish vending / processing women in Tamil Nadu coastal districts. So for 1656 JLGs formed and 10.21 crores provided to them as collateral free loans. And also well performing in small scale micro enterprises promotions through Joint Liability Groups, so for 3450 JLGs availed a loan of Rs.75.29 lakhs are in involved in 33 types of livelihood activity
